How to register

Notebooks, name plates and choice
Two 2025 posts on the Busy Bee blog describe how writing is taught.

“For writing at Busy Bee I have name plates for them to practice tracing with colorful markers and little erasers. I let them sit comfortably wherever suits them. They each get their own notebook where they can practice writing or drawing whatever they want.”
“One example is every day I give my students time to write whatever they want in their notebooks. This gives them practice with their fine motor skills in a way that allows freedom. They love it!”
The space
Inside and out
“Our indoor and outdoor spaces are designed for play-based activities. The learning space, complete with kitchen facilities, bathroom, learning table, play space, rug area, and a dedicated playroom with a children’s climbing wall is in a full daylight basement with large windows and plenty of natural light, and a separate preschool entrance. The yard is fully fenced with lots of space for our Busy Bees to play and enjoy many structured movement activities outside.”
